Erik crashed my post last time so I'm hitting post on this one in real time !
Chapter 14
So, Alan is on another Hero's Journey as he is sent undercover in the Mjollner o find Rayne and Sera's son. One of the things I never liked about Hidden is just how quickly Alan became competent, so I'm slowing it down this time around, making him more hesitant.
780 Words. That is all.
So, don't think to much into it, but I have 780 good words in UL3. I'm really having to reintroduce myself to this serial. As I go back for character information I feel like I know them, but all the plot bits have faded. I'm so confident in the story this time around and it will be very similar to OHG. I'm trying to keep with the logic set up in UL2, but a few things may be out of sync.
I'm not sure when I'll post it, I'd love to be more ahead. I see this as less of a serial and more of a series of closely connected vignettes. Maybe.
I went back in and realized UL2 was only eight chapters...I want get back to those kind of short serials...I just need the plot bunnies to send me something !
Picspirtation
So one thing about UL is I have NEVER had good picspirations for the characters--especially Rhett, so I've been researching (or Tumblr as you may call it) but have had no luck. That said I found a really good Haley picspiration. I have no idea who this is though:
Also, I want Scott Eastwood to be a character in something I write one day. He just seems to be the handsomest of all the handsomes.
Let's Try Third Person
I mentioned I was getting rid of first person and one of the reasons I did that was because with third person you can hop from perspectives within chapters. I experimented with this in Chapter 15. We have two shorties tonight.
Chapter 15 & 16
Recap: Maxwell is stressed because he's been called to Ft. Perch for a review and when he sees Haley looking through his personal items in his room he makes him work out with him. Also Felix and Marco are suspicious of if Harlow really made it.
