Plot Twist
From Chapter 20:
"It turns out when I actually try I can perfectly imitate my Dad’s ability to walk into a room and charm everyone"
"..Strange,”
“How so ?”
“No, sir I—mean Corp. Strange,” St. John corrected quickly."There."
...
St. John pointed to a crowded table of corporals who were all caught up in a story from the charismatic man in the center.
When I started thinking about revisiting Haley and Maxwell the character of Corp. Strange--who hates Haley--always stuck in my mind. From word one of the outline I toyed with the idea of Strange and Alan being the same person. I didn’t drop a lot of hints to his identity because I wanted Alan to actually be good at being undercover.
But more on that later.
Lol, Lile
In her comment section Lile asked me about the bathroom situation in the last chapter and it made me lol because I kind of considered writing it in, but then didn't. I always think it's one of those funny things about whether writers include bodily functions in their books. I mean, I guess it does make things more realistic.
Anyway, like I said Maxwell and Haley are both male and there is a sink so...yeah. But I also wanted to add that after about the 4th day of starvation that stops being a problem.
Okay, that's enough on that.
Recap
Haley and Maxwell get taken hostage for 13 days by Audrina and Corp. Strange, er Alan Gray....
