I am still getting used to blogging everyday but, this is something I really do enjoy doing. I don't have preset topics so, I thought today I would write about my day and then muse on my writings.
I had one of those Lazy Sundays. I slept in and then decided to go and see a matinee of 500 Days of Summer, it was a pretty good movie (even better book). I called a friend and we talked and then I started cleaning my house. I have a little home office there, were I do most of my writing because, when I am at Cobalt I am usually fielding calls and reading manuscripts.
I began to think about the differences between my two current projects. One of the biggest differences between Ivy Brothers and United Light is that I want United Light to be seen and I guess in a way unbelieved as a fiction. Where as I want Ivy Brothers to kind of exist in some sense of reality. Does that make sense ? That is why when I gave the Ivy Brothers their own site in the first place, I wanted to make them feel real, that is also why I haven't put an about the author page on their website.
I think I do want to continue to give you guys tiny sneek peaks into Slate, Darcy and Nicholas's stories but, I haven't thought of how yet. You may have noticed I haven't given much perspective on Elias that is because until further notice I have something special planned for him . . .
Oh look at me foreshadowing.
I want to thank you all for your comments and for continuing to read and be enthusiatic about my work. It really does bring me such pleasure. It's strange that people think reading is being lost but I think it is being saved by a select number of pleople who are dedicated and in love with books and writing. I look online at any type of writing website and I see so many great writers and so many intellegint readers.
Until Later,
Shawna
I felt that UL felt real too, but I see what you're getting at
