Okay, I'm sure I have a lot to say about these last few chapters but they are all working towards something. This next one is really more of a series of psuedo -kind- of not r-eally vignettes but as I have said they are all leading to something (and I'm not entirely sure what it is). Anyway I have a few pictures of minor characters who I use in my head. The fact that I have pictures of them means nothing about the story because I don't know if we will see them again or not.
I have found it easier for me not to try and match a song with every chapter so, I have created sections and the songs go with them, to me the music just sets the overall tone.
It's funny through listening to music I have created a playlist of songs for events I want to happen possibly 10 chapters from now ! It's hard for me not to try and throw them in now. I have to save some for IVB too, though.
As far as this chapter and the next few these are kind of my little soapbox for a few things but, it is very faint. I doubt anyone will catch them. My characters are very motivated so, if you like to look hard into things you may find something (or nothing). I guess I'm teasing you all, lol !

For those of you who don't know that is Matthew Gray Gubler, Chris Harrison (host of the Bachelor) and Sara Mason.
I haven't really though about Cortland's housemates but, I imagine they would be a cross between and A&F ad and a United Colors Of Benton Ad. Speaking of Cortland's housemates I did have a fun time using a list of preppy names to come up with the names. I tried to get ones that were both uniquely preppy but still pretty mainstream. It's from this website and I can't tell if this woman is serious or not about warnings about names becoming to trendy.
As a side note a ---- signifies either a change in person or a bigger cut in time than the *** but, it's pretty obvious. I have been doing this for a while but, in case you did not catch on.
It's so hard for me to wave goodbye to a section when I don't have another one waiting for me.

ReplyDeleteIt's great that Juliana is in school now but I can see why it would be hard, I think when she was getting ready for school we got a little glimpse at the "old" Juliana.

As I was reading the part where Juliana was driving back I kept thinking they were going to get in a serious car accident, I was glad they didn't.

ReplyDeleteI wasn't expecting an update ! I don't usually comment but I didn't feel like this chapter really added to anything but some insight to Cortland and Juliana's relationship. I really want to see where this goes.
ReplyDeleteLiving with the frat brother must be a ton of fun but I can't help but to think it is a negative environment for Juliana to be in. I think Kennedy really cares about her well being because she is nicer to her once she is in school.

ReplyDeleteI feel bad for Sawyer he really is in a tough situation. I don't think Cortland loves Juliana as much as Sawyer I'm just saying, Sawyer has known the "old" and "new" Juliana and was still there for her.

I should start buying clothes at Wal * Mart ! I liked this chapter it set up the situation of Juliana and Sawyre apart, this is really a different type of love story, if it even is one.

RedRose-- It is not the most positive environment for her but, I think for the most part she keeps to her own rules. Kennedy did come out as very matronly in these last few chapters. I think Kennedy is very tough love and while she orginally was only supposed to be in 1 chapter I like her as a character.
Alexa -- He is stressed because business at the Penthouse isn't going as well and he has to pitch in or lose his lifestyle.
HeapsofLace-- I see how you can argue that and I think you are very right.
EverydayGirl -- There is ? Some chapters have more than one song and there are two versions of Magic. Also the coldplay song seems to play twice.
Charity -- She couldn't finish it because Juliana is not that good with reading or writing but, she got the gist.
Kandi-- They were originally just shots but, I think JELLO shorts are more fun !

Juliana : Is trying to please everyone and only goes to college because she wants to make Sawyer happy even if she is not "with" him anymore. She sleeps with Cortland because she wants to make and keep him happy and not ask for anything in return.
Sid : Wants to keep his business Afloat
Kennedy : Want so make sure that all her employees don't spend the rest of thier lives working at the penthouse and encourages them to go out and get an education
Sawyer : He wants to do the right thing and get back to his life and get rid of anything that reminds him of what he did among those things is get the divorce, apologize to the Morris's and presumably stop selling meth. I bet if he could get away with leaving Santa Costa he would.

Saw IV-- I was hoping not to get that feel but, they are teenagers. I love writing Elisa and Sawyer but they unfortunately only come out good in small doses.
