So, I said I had an announcement and while it's not the biggest thing in the world it may have some effect.
I am going to be taking a break from United Light in November to start working on a brand new type of fiction

I will be challenging myself to A Nanowrimo fiction based on the Ivy Brothers. I'm not even sure if I will make it officail but, this one will be mainly about Elias, the one who I have not written much about yet. I am going to be doing things I don't usually do like planning and outlining so that will be taking a lot of October but, I won't abandon United Light because I am working it towards something again.
On that note I have an update and a playlist. The songs are really more overarching so, there are no real sections. Although I have heard songs that will inspire many other pieces.

Elias seems like he is going to be an interesting person, just don't leave UL hanging.
I'm glad you gave us a months warning before taking a break from UL. Lots of pop culture references in this one.

ReplyDeleteI found something very different about this chapter tone wise. I think the coming-of-age theme is really shown here and instead of Juliana's taste in clothes and work being taboo it's a part of who she is now. I'd almost say it gives her some unknown confidence.
One little nitpick, Didn't Juliana leave her uniform in the back in another chapter ? or did she do it not knowing she could ?
I also remembered why I loved Elisa so much from her tidbits in this chapter.

I couldn't help but to pick up some sexual tension with Sawyer and Juliana alone in the private room. I do like Cortland though but there is so much other complex stuff, it really is like another (totally )awesome story.

I could feel the struggle to retain a story in these Violet chapters but this one felt very natural and like you were telling a story, I can't wait to see what happens next.
