Secondly, I do help Shawna but, I don't write Slate's story, I did the excerpt but that is it. It's funny that people think I write those chapters. I have had brain cancer so I do write a lot of Nicholas's medical experiences. I will say I also did help Shawna in how to break it up and helped her realize that not every chapter has to be 3,000 words.
With that in mind, Shawna had put together 4 chapters for you guys. The host has been acting up so, some of the images are distorted but here is chapter 10.
Also, yes Shawna will be answering comments not me.

ReplyDeleteJoel - I think it's interesting you don't like John Mayer, a lot of people think he is a more subversive word for a "jerk", as well.
Ahh, the band is breaking up ): at least that is what I got from this.

ReplyDeleteIt was not fun reading Darcy not being his usual happy self. I knew there would be a contradiction with Nick getting better and Darcy not.

@Juliet-- most of them are from DeviantArt. I type in the theme for the chapter and I look at conceptual photographs. Like the one on Slate's is a cold heart and Darcy's is what comes up when you type in hate.
@ Saints44-- He is one of those people who curses when they are angry but not in front of their parents or family.
@Princess-- It really is a double edges sword. I'm not sure there is a right or wrong.
@Harley-- Yes, the would not align for various reasons. They were sad.
@LeDolceVita-- It was a toss up of 2 songs, I will probably use the other one later. I have no idea where he will go.
@Wildehorses-- It is supposed to be Killans's car but, really it is just a car with a bumper sticker. For those of you who care that bumper sticker pictured actually reads "Monica Lewinsky's ex-boyfriends wife for president"

I think it's weird his songs are all sentimental but in reality he is kind of the opposite

@AprilShowers -- What an interesting theory. Only I will say for Telsa she has watched this disease take her family ans she is the only one who does not have it.
Sundance- She was referring to the fact that everyone in the family has gotten it and she knows how to compile family history.

Julie R. -- Julie it was a long time ago and except for a little setback a few years ago I have been in remission for like 10 years (dear god, I have been married a long time) and it has been good.
Lexi-- That was another issue I knew was going to come to the surface.
