Anyway I have sectioned the songs but, Sara Bareilles's City is really the overall theme for this chapter. I have to say her music is actually going to be the theme for the rest of this serial because I have already thought of the future for these characters (I'm not sure if they agree though) based on her music.

ReplyDeleteThis was an interesting chapter. I like the way it was written but I hate to jump on the SawyerIsAJerk bandwagon just yet. Great song choices section 9.4 was wonderfully written.
I was a but unsure at first but the desperation of the situation is really coming to light. I'm glad to see Julie making some choices but I want to see what happens next.

ReplyDeleteI wondered why they didn't stay at Elisa's, I think Sawyer is just really anal. Although it's sad that he is sleeping in Elisa's empty bed.

ReplyDeleteJulianna's character has certainly taking a fall, hasn't she, I don't know what to think just yet. I thought I would miss hearing from Elisa.

ReplyDeleteFirst I love these quick updates. I'm really on the edge of my seat because the ending felt like it was teetering on the fourth wall, which was interesting. I'm concerned about Julie but I guess that's the characters doing what they need to do. It's just showing Julianna's fierce determination to please Sawyer.

Tabby-- Yes, it is getting desperate. Now I can really say it's about decisions that both Sawyer and Juliana make.
Constance-- Thank you ! I have only been once and I only drove through the city so, I did my best. I took a lot of liberties, I almost considered making up a city.

PrincessC-- It is kind of sad but, it's because it is a one bedroom apartment.
Gillian-- People have more than one side, I've learned. I wasn't trying to make anyone good or bad. He is just young and having fun.
Harlot-- I just got so into a linear story line and I couldn't break it off. I am not done with Elisa's POV.
MakemeLALA- She is starting to learn but she is still in a new place and has those feelings of trust she has had with Sawyer.
Maylights -- I love these updates too! I actually get my own little high of off them ! I wasn't trying to break the fourth wall, can you explain how you saw that I think it's interesting.

Holli -- I do have an answer for that, and I will share it : Juliana was going to be on her own for the first time and Sawyer didn't want her to feel like she was alone. He was going to tell her God will be watching over her because she never did anything wrong but, then I realized Juliana has never stated what she had been believed about God.
Kandi_Cane- Neither was I, I hate to admit it but, I think you guys put it in my head.
RedRose-- Love the username ! Sid assumes that because when they were dropping of the furniture Sawyer asked him where Sid gets his drugs.
Alexa- Nope ! Not this time, I gooogled it myself
Petit_B- If you listen you see that they don't talk much and that is a problem.
