Do you all have paradox lines ? I did these in 2019 but in my EPOH comment section one of you asked about variant covers! And in the last comment section someone asked about reading order.

I started to just do new "looks" for some of them but I got carried away. I forgot about Last Regrets and The Answer is Yes until right before this went up so those got tacked on the end even though they are prequels. They also look the best because I finally figured out the effect and learned I could stack the longer names.

For those counting at home that comes down to 17 stories about Vice; 3 full serials, 8 novellas and 6 short stories written by me and 1 short story from Lile. It's a weird feeling to have written so much about these characters but to feel like I haven't said much of anything ?

I feel like the order is good, except maybe Bright Lines and Sweet Prince could be swapped. Also Little Miracles before Sunshine ?

After messing with Maxwell a little, Nova calls someone named Holland and heads to Cheek's--a bar on the same property as the Daughters of Fury (The SJW motorcycle club Colette started) Inferno West charter.

I'm about to share a Vice-shaped thing I haven't talked much about. Well, except for when I was talking about not talking about it. 

Dear Lile
Lile always reminds me what it is like to be on the other side of this serial thing even though I'm currently in an opposite place than her. I am working on SO many little things and I want to share them all but they have an order. Freeing myself to write shorter has really saved me.  I wish I could look forward to 2023 but I have NO idea what I'll be doing then.

Also, LILE has indoctrinated me into Pinterest MFA and this is my current favorite piece of advice-ish pin:

In my head my fanfics were going to be these cute 3-4k thought experiments but (aside from the first one I'll share codenamed SWM)  they are all inching towards 10-12k. I've been striking through text with stuff that could go so hopefully I can make the fanfics more concise. I'll share more about them in the future but first....

UL Wrap Up
I'm going to be honest, when I finished EPOH I really thought I was done with UL and the Clarks were going off into the sunset to their next HEA. But you guys  picked up on some loose threads in EPOH and I must have subconsciously picked up on them too because one of my longer "fanfics" is less of a fanfic and more of a "What If" continuation of Rhett and Juliana's relationship.

What do I mean by that ? It's something that could be canon but I'm not sure if I want it to be ? It's real blob shaped right now. I never saw it as as continuation of EPOH when I was drafting but now I see how unfinished EPOH really was.

Every Piece of Happiness Part 2

Things I do when I want to be technically "working on a serial" but not actually writing. I'm actually looking at the OLT cover now and the coloring is a little off so I may need to re-do it...

Writing Update

I just have to talk about how much I'm enjoying Sincerely, Emile and Lile's blogging in particular. I just love all the nuggets she drops about future projects and how she opens up about vault-y future things that exist. Because I need that Emile-and-Fierro-burning-Fierros-death-certificate scene ASAP, honey !

Someone in my last comment section asked me what is next for me and I've been kind of quiet because I don't want to set expectations  I will say I've been digging deeper into my fanfics and I've created A WORLD. I have a big story ideas and I feel like I have the words but the actual writing has been slow going. And by big I mean ideas not like length.

Lately, I've also been really struggling with playlists. I LOVED my Sunshine Inspy playlist and the ones I'm making lately are just...meh ? Coming up with this EPOH II playlist was one of hardest. With section one I kind of went with a 1999/2000 theme but for this section I took a lot of songs from UL3...which is a playlist I can't go back to much. SO.MUCH. SUPER SAD.WHITE.MAN.WITH.A.GUITAR.

Didn't mean to turn this section into a struggle fest but that's why I am right now!

SHV is Back On Her Bullsh*t (UL 3.75 ?)

I can't believe I'm finally sharing this...I started the playlist for this in June 2017 ! EPOH is the last canon thing I have for my UL crew and I'm feeling really okay with it. I'm not saying no more UL ever but for now, this is it.

Every Piece of Happiness Aesthetic

There are just certain images where Anna Chulmsky and James Marsden look SO CLOSE to Grown!Juliana and Grown!Rhett. It's funny, their expressions in the above aesthetic  really should be swapped.

I kind of like to "check in" on my character inspys and when I was looking for the above images I got back on my dark-haired-blue-eyed man bullsh*t and checked up on Marsden and  Nicholas Hoult, my young Rhett inspy.

 BTW, I think these two really complement each oher.

I can report that in 2020 Hoult is playing JRR Tolkien in a biopic and doing some other interesting indie films and Marsden is...um...aging like a fine wine atleast ?

Marsden and Hoult are 16 years apart so if anyone is asking I would totally abandon whatever I'm doing  to write a Gilmore Girls type spec script for these two.

Oh, also..James Marsden and Nicholas Hoult are in a movie together (IDK if they have scenes together) so gold star to whoever can guess without looking it up!
 
Recap
Every Piece of Happiness takes place in the One Last Thing timeline, which is 16 years after the beginning of UL3.

Rhett, 39, is hurt in the line of duty. He shatters his hip dangling out of a helicopter during a mission. He is now back active duty Coast Guard and works as a water trainer. Juliana, 38, is raising their 5 children and Rhett's best friend's daughter. Rhett's mother dies unexpectedly from an aneurysm.

They have the following children:

Mason, 16 - Born during UL3
Spencer, 14 - Born at the end of UL3
Peyton, 6 - Baby at the end of the UL3 epilogue
Carter, 3 - Born during the time Rhett was recovering from his injury. In my head she was totally conceived in a hospital room when Juliana moved to Alaska to help Rhett recover in the hospital.
Annabelle Grace, 13 months - The accident baby who was born 6 weeks early

Other children:
Laci Sullivan, 14 - Amber and West (Rhett's maternal cousin) daughter.
Tennessee Grady, 6 - Cody's daughter that Juliana and Rhett have legal custody over while Cody is in in jail
Noah Presley Giroux, 15 -  Aubrey (Rhett's paternal cousin) and Wil's son.

I wrote this story in two parts (meaning I wrote one section in 2017 and um, the other in 2019) so I'm going to share it in two parts. It shouldn't need too much of a recap except the character refresher.
