Vice Chapter 11
One of the things I found interesting about some of your comments was how some of you agree with Alan and get some of the same conclusions Alan gets later on...and that's all I'm going to say about that.

I have no clue what inspired this. I think it was Lile mentioning it at some point and me realizing I hadn't looked at it years.
While I don't have a lot of recollection about writing it, I do know I wrote it as one word document and split it into sections and chapters later. I'd really like to be able to do that again, but for now here we are. I may live to regret posting this, but here we go ! For those of you who have forgotten, Sundays is 4 parts, so this will be a quick interlude.
I introduce you to someone I call CPShawna and references to House,Scandal and Orange is The New Black lie ahead.

Honey, good for you and your diverse references. I pretty much just stick to Twilight. This is funny because I wannted to write my Veritas-serial about Haley.

DeleteI never noticed the cursing thing ? Does it come more naturally in V2 (My nickname for referring to Veritas and Vice.)
ReplyDeleteActually, right after I typed that I realized it shows up a lot in Sundays. And yes, it is pretty natural when it comes to dialouge.

DeleteOkay, I'm going to say a thing, but nobody get too excited. I am thinking of doing more work with UL (think Spring/Summer 2014) and I want to play with this city/town naming convention in that.
I feel like it comes later but do we get an age on Haley? I think one post said he was 22

DeleteSo, Minnie's role in Vice is always something I kind of want to correct a bit (but, I can't.) In Veritas I never actually show her with anyone except Alan and her being with older men in inferred.
In Vice we see her with Pascal who is siginificantly older than her and for some reason (maybe it's a gender thing, we are used to older men/young women) I never realized how squicky that was. If I could change something I would have done less showing and more inferring of her and Pascal sexually.
But, yeah I'm not going to EVER going write anything like that with a 14-year-old. That feels super illegal to me, sorry Alyssa Nutting.

ReplyDeleteWell, for now they are. I had so many unused songs, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to get back into my account. But, I've gotten lots of new playlists going on right now, so I'm doing pretty okay. I still really liked my Sundays playlist and want it back though.
